We base the sizing listed in the product description off of the mold we use to make the candles. One of the natural characteristics of pure beeswax is that is shrinks slightly after is cools. This can often make the finished candle a slight bit smaller than the dimensions listed. For most applications the size difference is not an issue and will usually not be noticed.  If you have a concern about the exact sizing, please contact us and we will be glad to help you out.
